Walking to promote wellbeing

Ange Tremain started Mojo Journeys to support and enable people to live life better. Walking in Nature is the pillar which underpins the Mojo Journey.

“During lockdown it was lovely to see people naturally being drawn out into our gorgeous city walking together,” says Ange.

“We all loved it, we felt the benefits of connection, exercise and celebrating our environment.

Mojo Journeys wants to promote and celebrate walking and connecting. To this end my friend Laura Jeffares and I decided to merge our crews and invite all Napier's walkers and walking groups to join 'sole mates'. We will meet for our first walk together on Sunday the 7th of June at the Cathedral Fountain Napier and enjoy a coffee, or whatever your a tonic is, at one of our inner city cafes.

Mojo Retreats - Pia Russell and Mega Dyer also run retreats at our purpose built bach in Waipatiki.

Mojo Journeys nurtures the Mojo of its clients with stunning food locally produced and crafted by Pia, challenging walks in stunning environment, guided yoga and mindfulness with Megan, deep rest and quiet, a facilitated personal reflection all along with a whole lot of love.

Mojo Walks - The Cape Escape is a signature walk accessible to Mojo only after access has been granted by land owners. It is a stunning 14 km day walk starting at Clifton and finishing on Ocean Beach. The walk is fully supported and we normally treat trekkers to a wine and food experience at one of a choice of HB wineries afterwards.
