LIFT Social Enterprise helps unemployed rangatahi

IMG 3545

LIFT Social Enterprise is launching a youth enterprise hub called LIFT Business - Creating Jobs, Creating Futures at 245 Emerson Street on 3 August.

LIFT Director Jody Hamilton says, “our vision is 100% youth employment in Hawke’s Bay. Our new youth enterprise hub will mostly work with local unemployed rangatahi to help them create jobs using their own business ideas. We’ll do that through providing business development training and coaching, using a proven approach.”

The hub will support production of goods on site, provide sales and marketing support and sell goods that have been made through the retail shop. Visitors and customers are welcome to see the hub in action and participate in the range of activities that will be running every day in the shop.
