Song Hubs Aotearoa

Song writer

The Napier City Council pandemic Recovery Fund has helped SongHubs Aotearoa to bring its song writing collaborative event to Hawke’s Bay for the first time, with a grant of just under $10,000. The event, to be held in December, is an amazing opportunity to connect talented Hawke’s Bay song writers with other creators across the New Zealand music industry, with the outcome of original songs being written and important relationships with industry leaders being formed to help our local songwriters to continue to flourish. The kaupapa of SongHubs Aotearoa is to support the creation of original music, to inspire and develop our creators across Aotearoa, encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing, to build networks from the regions into the wider industry and to grow a bi-lingual music industry in Aotearoa.
