The People’s aren’t your typical insurance and financial advisors. Matt and Bernard are determined to build their brand to be one for the people.
They jumped on the chance to support local by being the major sponsor for Hawke’s Bay At Home and providing extra help wherever they could. For a week, with the hospitality industry trying to get its head around delivery, Matt and Bernard helped to promote new takeaway joints and even delivered meals for local restaurants on their scooter - promoting this service with a hugely popular, fun video that went viral. They also provided supportive videos with financial and insurance advice for their new audience.
Since then, they’ve been working with other Napier-based hospitality businesses to continue to #supportlocal, such as creating regular coffee giveaways with Georgia Coffee, where the public could WIN a free coffee if they won against the team at The People’s in a game of paper, scissors, rock!
They’ve now started ‘The People’s People’ - highlighting stories of Hawke’s Bay locals doing great things - including Poppy Renton who starting the Farmers Facebook Group ‘Hawke’s Bay Drought’ with a huge uptake and success.
